Scroll Media boosts in-game advertising with new feature

AUCKLAND, Today: Scroll Media has hired former Amazon Twitch executive Costa Panagos to enhance their gaming division. Panagos, with extensive experience from Twitch and News Corp, brings valuable media agency connections to Scroll.

Headed by Adam DeRoma, Scroll Media Australia is pushing to increase in-game advertising revenues. They utilise global case studies and ongoing education. “With our exclusive partnership of 4 years with Gameloft plus partnering with Player Media and more broadly iion, Scroll Media is able to showcase the best of the in game advertising best practice and champion the growth of the category,” DeRoma noted.


“Advances in game advertising continue to grow with new innovative ways for brands to be involved alongside streaming.”


In collaboration with Gameloft, Scroll Media has created branded mini-games for major Australian brands, boosting campaigns like the recent Willy Wonka promotion for Universal Pictures and McDonalds, which has been nominated for a Drum APAC Award.

Scroll Gaming is now the largest branch of Scroll Media, which also handles ad sales for over 20 top publishers in Australia and NZ. Their reach extends to over 9.2 million monthly users in Australia and another 4.1 million through Gameloft apps.
