Genesis turns up the heat for Kiwis this winter

AUCKLAND, Today: As winter draws near, Genesis is stepping up to help keep Kiwi homes warm and cozy. They’re rallying New Zealanders to support the cause.

A lot of heat can escape through windows in uninsulated homes, which cranks up power usage. Genesis is teaming up with three local organisations to provide quality curtains and energy-saving tips to families across Aotearoa.

From April 28 to June 27, Genesis will match donations to these groups, up to $ 100,000.

Genesis has a history of supporting curtain banks, like Wellington’s Sustainability Trust and Christchurch’s Community Energy Action, since 2010. In 2022, they expanded their efforts to Northland and Auckland by partnering with Habitat for Humanity Northern.

Stephen Imm, Genesis’ GM of Brand and Marketing, shares, “Care is at the heart of Genesis and we’re proud to have longstanding partnerships with community groups that are helping to create warm, healthy homes.

“We’re really excited to share the great work Genesis does with community organisations, with the whole country.”

The campaign, now in its sixth instalment featuring George and her family, continues to engage New Zealanders effectively.

In partnership with TVNZ and led by PHD, the campaign will be visible across social media, digital platforms, and retail OOH.
