Global marketing publication Contagious has released its annual selection of Best and Bravest agencies, with Colenso BBDO once again named as one of only eight creative agencies from around the world.
The Contagious Creative Pioneers list is recognition of the agencies that are consistently setting the standard for innovation and creative excellence in marketing. Colenso BBDO has consistently made the list almost every year since the ranking launched in 2016.
Says Chloe Markowicz, editor, Contagious: “At Contagious, we only concern ourselves with the very best marketing in the world.
“So having a single campaign featured on the Contagious IQ platform is already high praise for any agency, but to be ranked a Contagious Pioneer signifies that an agency has consistently achieved excellence.
“Our 2024 Pioneers agencies have created work that stands out as the most creative, innovative and effective in the industry. They deserve recognition for campaigns that demonstrate breakthrough-thinking and set a new creative standard, exhibiting what future-facing marketing should look like.”
The global Contagious ranking rounds off a successful year for Colenso BBDO, last year winning Cannes Pacific Agency of the Year, multiple D&AD yellow pencils and WARC #1 Agency NZ & Australia.
Says Angela Watson, Managing Director of Colenso BBDO: “Colenso’s constant aim is to be one of the best creative companies in the world that just happens to be based in New Zealand. We couldn’t be more proud of our clients and our people, whose ambition and dedication make wins like this possible.”
The eight agencies (in alphabetical order) who made the rankings this year are:
BETC Paris
Colenso BBDO, Auckland
GUT, Buenos Aires
Howatson+Company, Sydney
Lucky Generals, London
Ogilvy India, Mumbai
Rethink, Toronto
