AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks, PHD Aotearoa, and DRUM highlighted customer favourites at New World supermarkets across New Zealand. Over 25 stores encouraged shoppers to share their ‘wonderful’ experiences.
Local customers celebrated unique offerings, from Mangawhai’s crispy fried chicken to the friendly staff in Rotorua Westend, showing their love for their local New World stores.
“This campaign really substantiated the insight that localised and authentic content, driven by everyday New Zealanders, will cut through.” – Stephen Larsen
More FM Drive’s Jay-Jay and Flynny added excitement with their ‘Wonderful Whip Around.’ They toured the country, broadcasting from stores, and even hosted a live wedding in aisle five!
The campaign used customer stories to spotlight each store’s uniqueness. These stories were featured on billboards and digital platforms, racking up over 11 million views. More FM’s effort sparked 33,000 texts and reached nearly 800,000 people on social media.
Stephen Larsen of PHD Aotearoa said, “This campaign really substantiated the insight that localised and authentic content, driven by everyday New Zealanders, will cut through.”
