A new report from WARC Creative listing the most awarded campaigns and agencies from the Asia-Pacific features a number of Kiwis.
Celebrating excellence in creativity, media and effectiveness, WARC rankings offer an opportunity for marketers to reflect on the best campaigns in the business and to review the impact their own work has on their brands. The rankings are compiled by applying a rigorous, unbiased and transparent methodology.
The WARC report is a deep-dive into those campaigns that have dominated the media this last year and what led to their top ranks.
Colenso BBDO’s ‘Phone it in for Skinny’ ad is ranked in the top three campaigns for its creativity, where as it was the top campaign in the APAC for its use of media.
The ‘Last performance for life’, made by Special for health insurance company, Partners Life, was number three in top campaigns for effectiveness.
The report found that brands are effectively using competitions and humour in ads as tactics to entertain and surprise consumers, and the use of partnerships, like LEGO’s with sports brand Nitro Circus, is helping to increase reach.
Amy Rodgers, Head of Content, WARC Creative, and author of the report says: “Our deep-dive into the multi- award-winning campaigns, brands and agencies in APAC featured highly across the three league tables provide an evidence-based insight into what led to their top ranks. Reflecting on these remarkable results and how they came about will inspire more successes.”
