Anthem wins big at PR Awards Asia-Pacific

HONG KONG, Today: Anthem has secured another major victory. They won a Gold Award in the Public Affairs Category at the 2024 PR Awards Asia-Pacific for The Domino Effect campaign supporting the Aged Care Association NZ.

Anthem was the only New Zealand agency recognised at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific.

The Domino Effect campaign highlighted underfunding and significant challenges in aged care, leading to policy commitments in the Coalition Government agreement. It also received a Highly Commended award in the Non-Profit category at the PR Week Global Awards and a silver in the PRINZ Awards in the Government Relations category.

“We’re thrilled to have received the Gold Award in the Public Affairs Category at PR Awards Asia-Pacific.”

“We’re thrilled to have received the Gold Award in the Public Affairs Category at PR Awards Asia-Pacific,” said Sarah Geel, Head of Integrated Communications at Anthem. “Our Domino Effect campaign for the Aged Care Association NZ raised critical awareness for the challenges facing the sector, but – importantly – played a pivotal role in influencing policy change which will deliver better outcomes for our older New Zealanders.”

Anthem’s work with Doppelmayr was also celebrated at the recent PRINZ awards. This project highlighted the potential of aerial cable cars as a sustainable transportation solution. It received silver awards in Corporate and Business Public Relations and Government Relations and Public Affairs categories, plus a bronze in Best Use of Media Relations.

“These awards highlight our commitment to driving meaningful change through strategic communication,” added Carolyn Kerr, CEO of Anthem. “We are immensely proud of our team’s dedication and creativity in delivering impactful campaigns that resonate both locally and internationally.”
