Fruity favourites return to Whittaker’s Artisan Collection

AUCKLAND, Today: Whittaker’s is excited to reintroduce two fruity favourites, Raspberry & New Zealand Strawberry and Gisborne Orange & Hazelnut, now part of its core New Zealand Artisan Collection featuring local ingredients.

These two blocks offer a delicious mix of flavour and texture. The Raspberry & New Zealand Strawberry combines tart raspberry with rich 50% Dark chocolate and a hint of sweet strawberry. The Gisborne Orange & Hazelnut blends roasted hazelnut with orange-infused 33% Creamy Milk Chocolate for a citrusy indulgence.

Whittaker’s Chief Marketing Officer, Soraya Cottin, shared their excitement about adding these flavours permanently, based on feedback from Chocolate Lovers and to highlight local producers.

Soraya added, “As these flavours were so popular when we released them as limited edition blocks last year, we worked to identify local suppliers of the hero ingredients to bring them back permanently.”

The new packaging will align with the rest of the Artisan Collection, giving the blocks a fresh look while maintaining the same high-quality taste that fans love.

Soraya believes the flavours will attract all types of Chocolate Lovers. “We know there are plenty of fruit lovers who will be glad to have these flavours back, but they are so delicious that we think they’ll be enjoyed by all, from classic Chocolate Lovers to the most adventurous,” she says.

Like all Whittaker’s products, these chocolates are made from beans-to-bar at their Porirua factory. They’re palm oil-free and made with 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified™ cocoa beans.
