Technology and creative agency Daylight is welcoming Senior Designer Dirk Paetzold to its team as it continues to grow its offering here in Aotearoa and the Australian market.
Paetzold brings over 15 years of global experience in product, digital, and graphic design, having worked with top clients such as Lloyd TSB, Lacoste, Westpac, and Sanitarium across Europe and Australasia.
Previously, he led design at Flight Digital and, more recently, freelanced through his business, FurtherEast Studio.
Paetzold says, “I’m really excited to be joining the team at Daylight. There are plenty of meaningful projects going through the building, and I’m looking forward to crafting how they’re launched into the world. The cross-section of that obsession with craft and applying that to the digital product thinking we do will be a really interesting challenge.”
Director of Product Design and Co-Founder, Kyle Hickey says, “We fell in love with Dirk from day one. He brings the perfect skillset of design thinking and digital user experience initiative to the team. He’s also proven to be an absolute weapon at team quiz nights – something that can’t be underestimated.”
Paetzold’s diverse design experience is a valuable addition to Daylight’s growing design capabilities as the company expands its presence in Aotearoa and further into international markets.
