Out-of-home advertising company Go Media is celebrating a major milestone: the expansion of its digital billboard network to 120 sites to reach 1.8 million Kiwis every two weeks.
The Wellington and Manukau Gateways are among the new additions to the network, and a new Ponsonby site is coming soon.
In addition, Go Media has welcomed five new team members, including Jamie Allen as Marketing Director, Lizzie Westgate as Account Director in Auckland and Ash Edge as Account Director in Wellington.
It plans to further expand its sales team in Auckland, with more announcements to follow soon.
To commemorate its recent achievements, Go Media will host an industry-wide 1920s-themed celebration at Lilly World at Go Media Stadium on October 17th. The event, inspired by iconic themes from The Great Gatsby and Peaky Blinders, will feature a night of 2020s music and entertainment, with live bands and DJs celebrating the company’s growth and its recent Sales Team of the Year win at the Beacons.
“We have wanted to celebrate our recent Sales Team of the Year win with our whole company, but have held off for better weather and until we hit the 120 sites so we could make it an industry event. Given we have just signed a four-year extension to our Go Media Stadium naming rights deal, we wanted the event to be at the stadium, and we’ve timed it to christen a brand-new sound shell going into Lilly World. It’s going to be a fun-filled occasion and definitely not to be missed,” says Director and Founder Dean Shaw, who will also be performing with his band on the night.
This celebration will honour the partnerships that have driven Go Media’s accomplishments, ensuring a memorable evening for all attendees.
