In a world where nearly everyone is always online, there is no offline.

oOh!media’s network amplifies Mental Health Foundation’s awareness mesasge

oOh!media New Zealand is proud to support the Mental Health Foundation’s Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from September 23 to 29.

This year’s campaign, “Community is…what we create together,” is currently being highlighted across oOh!media’s national retail network in shopping centres until September 29.

Emphasising the importance of community connection in fostering mental wellbeing, the campaign promotes events happening across Aotearoa as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Shopping centres provide an ideal space to spread positive messaging and by reaching people where they naturally gather, the campaign encourages participation, with creative content tailored to specific regions to engage communities in locations close to the events.

oOh!media’s retail network reaches nearly two million unique people monthly, giving it a key role in connecting communities and promoting this important initiative.

“In the past decade, New Zealand’s retail centres have shifted from shopping hubs to lifestyle destinations, making them ideal places to foster community connection,” says Rick Goodwin, Product Innovation and Solutions Director at oOh!media NZ.

“These centres provide a convenient and central space for community engagement, and we’re glad to support this initiative that highlights the importance of coming together for our collective wellbeing.”

The Mental Health Foundation’s theme for this year’s MHAW highlights the power of community during challenging times. “Community is at the heart of our wellbeing,” said Shaun Robinson, Chief Executive at Mental Health Foundation. “We’re grateful for oOh!media’s continued support in helping us share this message and promote the events that will bring people together across Aotearoa.”
