The 2024 Campaign Asia-Pacific 40 Under 40 has been announced. Charlotte Glennon from Colenso BBDO and Emily Moon, Founder of Loupe Agency, are on the list – recognised for their outstanding contributions to the marketing and communications industry.
Both women, hailing from production backgrounds, were the only winners from New Zealand, celebrated for their leadership and their proven ability to deliver results and elevate the industry.
Charlotte Glennon, Head of Integrated Production at Colenso BBDO, has led globally recognised campaigns, including the Cannes Grand Prix-winning Pedigree Adoptable AI campaign, which creatively used AI to drive pet adoptions. Glennon’s leadership skills have earned her a seat on Colenso’s Shadow Executive Team, and she has played a pivotal role in securing significant accounts for Colenso, including Auckland Pride 2025.
‘Immense potential’
Glennon, who is Pasifika, is deeply passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion at the agency and the wider industry. She spearheaded numerous initiatives to promote Māori and Pasifika voices, ensuring their incredible creative talent can be seen and heard.
Glennon says: “It’s an honour to be recognised alongside such incredible talent from across Asia-Pacific. This award really highlights the immense potential of production to lead creative change and help drive business results.”
Emily Moon, founder of Loupe Agency, has played a key role in New Zealand’s production industry by establishing one of the first agencies to integrate stills and video production under one roof. Drawing from her experience in stills production, Moon created Loupe to represent a wide range of unique voices and perspectives.
Despite facing personal health challenges, she has led the agency to significant success, attracting top talent and launching the agency’s own magazine to showcase artists’ personal work. Moon actively participates in industry discussions, sharing insights and advice with emerging talent.
As Loupe continues to thrive, Moon remains dedicated to mentoring young creatives and promoting inclusion within the industry.
Moon says: “It’s fantastic to be included among such amazing talent, and I’m thrilled to have both my work and that of Loupe recognised. The calibre of creativity we have here is truly inspiring. I’m proud of what our local production industry continues to accomplish.”
‘Incredible wāhine’
From Angela Watson, CEO of Colenso: “Charlotte and Emily are both brilliant, and incredibly deserving of this accolade: New Zealand has some incredible wāhine working in the industry, and these two represent this beautifully.”
The 40 Under 40 awards honour the most influential young leaders in the Asia-Pacific marketing and communications industry, showcasing those who are breaking boundaries and making a significant impact.
