AUCKLAND, Today: 818, an entertainment publicity agency, has signed on to promote fourteen major events in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, this summer. Celebrating 10 years, 818 specialises in large-scale live events and entertainment.
The agency is working with the ASB Classic and ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix for the second year. The ASB Classic runs from December 30, 2024, to January 11, 2025, featuring stars like Naomi Osaka.
The ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix will take place January 18-19, 2025, turning Auckland into the City of SailGP. 818 continues to build hype for these marquee events.
After success with SYNTHONY PRIDE, 818 will promote Mānuka Pharm SYNTHONY in THE DOMAIN, scheduled for March 29, 2025. The lineup includes Example (UK), Kora, and Ladi6.
818 is also supporting Rhythm and Vines, returning December 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025, with headliners like Ice Spice, Sammy Virji, and Meduza. Additional festivals include Golden Lights and Gardens Music Festival.

818 will also promote major theatre productions, including The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale, and SIX the Musical, headlining the Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival.
Music highlights include Hozier, Lauren Daigle, Highly Suspect, and Pearl Jam, all performing in New Zealand this summer. 818 continues to work with Live Nation and Endeavour Live to support these acts.
Local feature film Tinā will release in early 2025. Directed by Miki Magasiva, it premieres at the Hawai’i International Film Festival on October 3, 2024.
818 recently launched RSVP, a new PR and event tool designed to reduce date clashes for key industry events in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, by providing visibility to media and influencers.
