Architectural interior design agency CTRL Space has enlisted the expertise and experience of PR agency Tonic Communications to help increase its brand awareness, industry profile and international business leads.
Tonic has been tasked with supporting the trans-Tasman design agency across media relations, social media and events.
The ongoing appointment follows the successful execution of a project to support CTRL Space’s 15-year anniversary and new brand launch earlier this year, which is already delivering returns.
Portfolio of hospo hotspots
Founded by Chris Stevens in 2009, CTRL Space is a multi-award-winning agency specialising in hospitality venues, hotels and workplaces. It recently won the Interior Design Award from Architecture NZ for Metita at Auckland’s SkyCity Hotel and a Best Award for Nightcar. With studios in Auckland and Brisbane, its portfolio includes Auckland hotspots; Lilian, Hotel Ponsonby and the new Warriors bar, Full-time Sports; Bottega Bandito in Adelaide, Soda in Queenstown and Drifter in Christchurch.
Tonic Communications General Manager Georgia Coleman says, “We’re thrilled to partner with CTRL Space and support its vision for the future. Chris truly ‘gets’ the value of PR and as such we have very quickly established an open and collaborative working relationship.
“This has enabled us to get some swift results on the board, whilst also being involved in long-term planning. We feel privileged to help tell the CTRL Space story as they continue to shape some of the most iconic spaces across Australasia and beyond.”
Stevens said he was delighted with the new partnership saying, “Georgia and the team at Tonic have been amazing to work with. Coupled with their expertise and tenure in the industry, they bring a lot of passion and enthusiasm to the table. They have a great understanding of our brand and are always-on, looking for opportunities to share our work. They have very quickly become valued members of our team.”
Tonic Communications launched earlier this year under the leadership of Coleman, and focuses on a broad range of integrated communications and PR services, including media relations, social media, influencer marketing, content creation, events, and activations.
