AUCKLAND, Today: Chemistry, an independent ad agency in Auckland, has expanded its relationship with Edgewell Personal Care by winning the social media business for Edgewell’s Australian market.
This expansion builds on Chemistry’s work for Edgewell’s brands in New Zealand, including Schick, Bulldog, Hawaiian Tropic, and Banana Boat. Chemistry has worked with Schick NZ for nearly five years, recently winning Best Use of Commercial Sponsorship at the NZ Sport and Recreation Awards 2024 with Basketball NZ.
The agency first developed Schick’s New Zealand social strategy, launching campaigns like Schick Everyday Ballers and Schick Neighbourhoops. Their role expanded last year to include social media management for all Edgewell brands in New Zealand.
Now, Chemistry will manage social media strategy and execution for Edgewell’s FMCG brands across Australia, bringing fresh ideas and innovative campaigns that resonate with Australian audiences.
“We are incredibly excited to extend our relationship with Edgewell across the Tasman. The brands under Edgewell’s umbrella are household names, and we’ve already seen great success in New Zealand.” – Henry Smith
Henry Smith, Business Partner at Chemistry said, “We are incredibly excited to extend our relationship with Edgewell across the Tasman. The brands under Edgewell’s umbrella are household names, and we’ve already seen great success in New Zealand.
“Taking on the social media responsibilities in the Australian market is a natural progression, and we can’t wait to bring fresh ideas and innovative thinking to our wider audience.”
Chemistry’s digital expertise will be key to expanding brand awareness and engagement in Australia, where Edgewell Personal Care is a global leader in personal care products.
Natalie Artinian, Senior Marketing Manager at Edgewell Australia said, “Chemistry has been a fantastic partner for us in New Zealand, consistently delivering high-quality, creative social media strategies that have helped our brands connect with consumers in meaningful ways.
“We are confident they will bring the same level of excellence to our Australian market, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them.”
