AUCKLAND, Today: Tip Top has partnered with TikTok to launch New Zealand’s first branded filter. The Trumpet Snack Challenge tasks players with catching the new Strawberry Shake Trumpet while avoiding other snacks.
MBM New Zealand collaborated with TikTok to bring the Strawberry Shake Trumpet to life through a playful branded filter. This filter aligns with Trumpet’s fun, interactive brand values.
Tip Top Marketing Manager Liz O’Meara shared, “We have seen a significant increase in engagement with our brands through TikTok, with our new Trumpet channel reaching 837,000 people in just the first month alone.
“When MBM NZ approached us with the opportunity to create a bespoke branded filter, we were immediately on board and have enjoyed working collaboratively to bring this one to life.
Liz added, “We hope Kiwis will enjoy playing it almost as much as they love eating our delicious new Trumpet Strawberry Shake ice cream!”

TikTok continues to grow in New Zealand, with Kiwis spending an average of 100 minutes per day on the platform, up 10% year-on-year.
