Able has found its new Communications & Engagement Manager.
The agency says it was spoilt for choice and very much humbled by the quality and quantity of people who put themselves forward to work with us – but Sheldene Seth stood out through the experience and expertise she holds, her leadership skills, and the drive and enthusiasm she showed throughout the recruitment process for enhancing awareness of media accessibility, as well as continuing to build on the work done by so many to ensure Able is an enjoyable and engaging place to work.
Last year Able took the time to define its values: calm intention, inclusivity & warmth, standing in the gap and reciprocity. While yet to share these or the stories behind widely, Able feels Seth embodies them all and is set to carry them forward to help navigate the future.
Seth hit the ground running about a month ago, firstly sinking her teeth into filming for upcoming web series Sight Unseen, and she has been drinking from a firehose since. Able hopes it will return to a bit more normalcy, in terms of regular comms, as it continues to work towards its mission of making media accessible.
