AUCKLAND, Today: Olivani, New Zealand’s favourite olive oil spread, is back with a fresh take on their Forever Young campaign, partnering with DDB Aotearoa to bring some Mediterranean charm.
This amusing campaign connects with Olivani fans, playfully spotlighting the joys of a Mediterranean lifestyle and how Olivani makes it easy to add to everyday meals.
The hero of the campaign, Gio, appears to be a young boy living a vibrant Mediterranean life, enjoying Olivani daily. The twist? Gio is far older than he looks.
“For generations Olivani has been New Zealand’s most beloved olive oil spread, and the campaign promotes the benefits of a Mediterranean lifestyle but also celebrates a joyful approach to living.” – Lisa Parslow
DDB Aotearoa Creative Director, Freddie Coltart says, “If you’ve read about the Blue Zones, you’ll know that the Mediterranean lifestyle has a few advantages, so if that didn’t convince you to adopt a Mediterranean diet, we’re hoping Gio and his family might.”
Lisa Parslow, Senior Brand Manager for Olivani, adds that the campaign celebrates Olivani’s belief in simple pleasures that keep us feeling young.
“For generations Olivani has been New Zealand’s most beloved olive oil spread, and the campaign promotes the benefits of a Mediterranean lifestyle but also celebrates a joyful approach to living. Because life is better when you feel Forever Young.”
