New Zealand Media and Entertainment secured four major accolades, including Media Publisher of the Year, at last night’s lAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards.
The annual awards recognise, celebrate and champion the digital advertising industry and organisations and practitioners.
NZME Senior Digital Campaign Manager, Ishal Eshna, won the Emerging Talent award, which recognises an individual with less than three years’ experience in a digital media role. This is a person who displays commitment, motivation, willingness to learn, courage under pressure, self-confidence, organisation skills and a readiness to go the extra distance for internal and external stakeholders.
NZME’s strength in digital sales and operations was also highlighted with wins in both team categories –
Digital Sales Team Excellence and Digital Ad Operations Excellence.
NZME Chief Executive Michael Boggs says, “NZME is strategically focused on digital transformation and
these awards reflect our commitment to digital excellence and innovation across our operations.
“We pride ourselves on developing and implementing world-class digital advertising campaigns that deliver value for our clients, and to be recognised with multiple wins this evening demonstrates our strength in this area. We know that we need to continue to develop and evolve to deliver for our customers and audiences and we are certainly up for that challenge.
“The lAB NZ Digital Advertising Awards are a benchmark for excellence in digital advertising and media and I’m so proud of Ishal and our teams for the fantastic wins this evening,” he says.
