dentsu Aotearoa has been named as a finalist in three categories at HRNZ’s prestigious NZ HR Awards 2025, recognising the agency’s efforts to foster a culture where people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
Celebrating the excellence and innovation within New Zealand’s HR community, dentsu Aotearoa is the only advertising agency shortlisted at the NZ HR Awards, nominated in the Talent Acquistion, Diversity and Inclusion, and Wellness Programme categories.
“We are incredibly proud to be recognised in categories that are deeply aligned with our core values,” says Kirsten Beggs, Human Resources Director at dentsu Aotearoa. “These nominations reflect the mahi and dedication of our employees throughout the organisation who continue to deliver initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of our people.“
dentsu Aotearoa has been recognised for its efforts in attracting and retaining top talent through non bias AI based selection tools, it’s support of employee wellbeing through the building and designing of a new community hub and for the impact its people led DEI Council has had on dentsu’s culture.
Rob Harvey, dentsu Aotearoa CEO, says, “I’m passionate about the importance of a positive people-centric culture at a business like ours. A healthy, inclusive culture helps drive innovation and creative thinking which helps to build better outcomes for our clients. Talent is our greatest asset at dentsu and I am incredibly proud of the work our people do every day to create a wonderful workplace and to drive real impact for our clients and partners.”
This comes during a period of strong results for the dentsu Aotearoa business, winning 11 x IAB Awards including the Grand Award for Best in Show, and two Golds at the recent Pressie Awards. The winners of the NZ HR Awards will be announced on Thursday, 27 February 2025, at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland.
