OMD Christchurch welcomes new hires

OMD Christchurch is continuing to invest in its presence in the South Island with new hires to bolster its offering for 2025.

Karen Booth, one of the region’s most seasoned media professionals, will be joining the team in the role of Client Service Director, where she will oversee a key client portfolio, and leverage her considerable experience to support the development of the next generation of local media experts coming out of OMD Christchurch.

Booth says, “I’m so energised at the prospect of working with OMD – the diverse range of expertise within the agency, the drive to deliver results for clients and the opportunity to build the skills of younger team members so they too can experience the thrill of the chase to find great media solutions.”

Following the successful onboarding of new clients they have also retained Sanjana Bhavsar as an Account Manager full time into 2025. Bhavsar is a recent arrival to Christchurch from India and brings a wealth of digital and client service experience with her, as well as an amazing attitude and different point of view to the local market.
