The Public Relations Institute of New Zealand has announced the 2025 PRINZ Awards are now open for entries.
The annual PRINZ Awards, to be awarded at the Gala Dinner in late May 2025, recognise excellence and showcase the outstanding work achieved by public relations and communications management professionals in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The awards are judged by selected senior PR and Communications industry professionals from overseas and across Aotearoa. They are led by two chief judges, Nikki Wright, FPRINZ and Andrew Pirie, FPRINZ.
In 2025, there are 15 categories to be judged including Crisis or Reputation Management, Internal Communications and Most Innovative Campaign. PRINZ will also recognise a Young Practitioner of the Year and PR Team of the Year.
PRINZ are proud to welcome two new sponsors of the PRINZ Awards this year. They extend their gratitude to Streem and Truescope and also welcome back esteemed sponsors Telum Media, Celebrity Speakers, and of course their principal partner Isentia for another year. Isentia continues to sponsor both the Best Use of Digital and Social Media and their eponymous Prize for Excellence in Research, Measurement and Evaluation.
Best of the best
PRINZ Chair Denise Mackay says, “It’s been fantastic to see how numbers of entries and engagement with our annual awards continues to grow. It’s a good indication of how the PR and communications management industry, and the professionals working within it, do plenty of relevant and impactful work that they quite rightly want to showcase and celebrate.
“Between now and May awards ceremony, there will be lots of voluntary mahi put in around the country by many of our PRINZ members to triage and judge the award entries. I want to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to those who enter, to all our judges and to our generous sponsors. I look forward to celebrating the best of the best with you all.”
Entries for the PRINZ Awards will close on February at midday. For more information on the 2025 PRINZ Awards, including entry guidelines and updates, visit the PRINZ website.
