Hawke’s Bay’s advertising agency FizzyPop is proud to continue its partnership with the Napier Art Deco Trust for Art Deco Festival Napier 2025.
Art Deco 2025 represents the third event where FizzyPop and the Art Deco Trust have worked together, with this year’s Summer event running from February 13 to 16, 2025.
This year is a celebration of the centenary of The Great Gatsby and the influential 1925 Paris Exhibition, alongside the era’s love affair with all things trains, planes, and automobiles. These themes of progress and innovation are reflected in the campaign itself, developed with the same pioneering spirit that defined the Art Deco era.
Celebration of Hawke’s Bay heritage
Ticket sales are already tracking positively, with strong out-of-region interest from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and even international markets. This broad appeal highlights the festival’s enduring resonance as both a celebration of Hawke’s Bay heritage and a drawcard for cultural tourism.
“The Art Deco Festival is fundamental to Hawke’s Bay’s identity, and we’re delighted to continue working with the Trust to bring it to life,” says Kat Robinson, FizzyPop’s Key Account Manager.
“This year’s campaigns have sparked outstanding engagement, and ticket sales are already well ahead of forecasts. We’re incredibly proud of the strategy and creative behind this success and can’t wait to see Napier come alive this February!”
Social assets
The campaign is targeted to maximise out-of-region engagement and ticket sales, employing an extensive range of creative assets, including animated banners, search ads, and video content tailored for platforms such as YouTube, Meta, and TikTok. FizzyPop’s strategic approach integrates media planning, innovative targeting, and precise creative execution to connect audiences with one of Hawke’s Bay’s most iconic events.
“Working with FizzyPop is always a privilege,” says Matthew Bonnett, Marketing Manager for the Art Deco Trust. “Their strategic insight and creativity have been instrumental in helping us expand our reach and expand the festival’s profile nationwide. This year’s campaign has already outperformed expectations, and we’re excited to welcome visitors from all corners of New Zealand – and the globe.”
FizzyPop’s strategy goes beyond in-market activity, helping the Napier Art Deco Trust strengthen its data-driven approach. From dynamic advertising assets to first-party audience data strategies, the campaign is designed to drive engagement and broaden the festival’s national and international reach.
