Stuff Group has appointed media leader Margaret Hawker as Director of Harakeke, Stuff’s in-house commercial and creative services agency.
Hawker brings a wealth of experience from across the New Zealand media industry, holding senior creative and strategy-focused positions at NZME and Are Media.
Stuff Commercial Director Brand Connections, Jaana Collins says Hawker will build on Harakeke’s growing number of large and innovative integrated campaigns.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Margaret to the Stuff whānau and I know our commercial partners, as well as our own teams, are going to love the strategic and creative leadership she brings to Harakeke. She’ll ensure our commercial partners take full advantage of our number one omnichannel ecosystem, as well as our talent list full of household names.
“Margaret is that rare breed who can combine ideation, innovation, data and process to deliver maximum impact. With our Follow No One ethos, she’ll be right at home at Stuff,” says Collins.
Making a difference
Hawker says she’s excited to be joining Aotearoa’s leading media company.
“Stuffis very beautifully human in its approach, making a real difference to Kiwis, and Harakeke has a strong reputation for creating engaging, innovative and truly integrated work for its commercial partners. I’m very eager to continue this legacy and build on it, connecting Kiwi brands with Stuff’s large and engaged audience in the most creative and effective ways possible.”
Hawker begins in her new role on 17 February.
