AUCKLAND, Today: Influencing is thrilled to share that this year’s Samsung Australian IT Journalism Awards received a record-breaking number of entries—nearly 500—setting a new benchmark for the event.
Individual award finalists will be revealed tomorrow morning, but today, Influencing is announcing the Coverage Award nominations.
“This year’s response to the 23rd Annual Awards has been phenomenal with the number of entries up by about 20 per cent, and covering more journalists and outlets than ever before,” said Influencing CEO Phil Sim.
“Judging is now complete and I’d like to thank all of the judges for taking the time to consider such a large number of entries.”
The Lizzies, as they’re fondly known, are made possible by the continued support of the industry. Special thanks go to Samsung Australia, Watterson Marketing Communications, and returning sponsors Optus, NetApp, Meta, The Australian Computer Society, Amazon, and new partners Alternaleaf, Apptio, Aussie Broadband, Cisco, and Adobe.
With record participation and strong sponsor support, tickets are selling fast. Those keen to attend the biggest night in tech media should secure their spot now.
