Kiwi streaming and cinema guide Flicks has renewed its exclusive partnership with local delivery service Delivereasy.
The partnership sees Flicks, which is part of Vista Group, use its position as an authority on films and TV shows to showcase Delivereasy as the go-to service for Kiwis from April 1.
“It’s a match made in heaven.” says Dan Michelle, General Manager at Flicks. “Supporting fellow local businesses is really important to us, and with both businesses solving relatable pain points for the busy modern New Zealander working with the Delivereasy team for another term was a no-brainer.”
Loyal customers top of mind
Led by a bespoke integration within Flicks’ streaming and sports listings, the partnership aims to natively intercept streamers at a critical point of discovery. By positioning Delivereasy alongside global juggernaut shows, movies and major sports events throughout their key trading period, the partnership helps solve the challenge of top-of-mind awareness and consideration during the classic streaming + meal-time occasion.
Like all the best partnerships, the loyal customers are top of mind on both platforms, so there’s something in it for them – Delivereasy and Flicks have partnered to offer an exclusive giveaway for Flicks fans. Each month, five winners receive a Delivereasy prize pack valued at $ 300, including a $ 200 Delivereasy voucher, exclusive merchandise, and treats to level up their streaming experience.

Best content, tasty meals
“Melting into the couch after a day’s work is the dream for many, however, with busy lives, time is often not on our side. This partnership seeks to solve that with Flicks quickly connecting people with the best content to watch, and Delivereasy delivering something tasty on their plates. This goes beyond a standard media partnership and becomes a true value-add for our users,” says Michelle.
Delivereasy’s CMO, Jean Mexted, adds, “With so many good shows out there, choosing what to watch can feel more like a marathon than a sprint. Which means it’s basically a sport. And sportspeople need to fuel their bodies appropriately. We’re stoked to be showing up alongside Flicks to support the rest and recovery efforts of our fellow New Zealanders after they’ve selected their new show to binge.”
The renewal comes at a good time with Delivereasy having recently extended its service areas and product offering, and Flicks coming off the back of a record visitor month in January, with 1.75 million local visitors using Flicks across Australia and New Zealand.
