AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks is making moves on Auckland’s North Shore with the launch of two standout digital billboards on Wairau Road.
Located near the Tristram Avenue exit off State Highway 1, they’re perfectly placed to grab attention from both heavy traffic and steady local flow.
The new setup features a massive 15 x 5 metre screen alongside a bold 12 x 3 metre screen—both built into an existing structure for max visibility.
“The launch of these sites is a huge step forward in our mission to give advertisers premium access to their audience,” said Mike Watkins, MediaWorks Outdoor CEO.
“With our existing locations at Shore City Takapuna and Oteha Valley, plus our recently launched 12x4m site in Manukau, we’re strengthening our presence as a leading DOOH provider.”

The screens are powered by Daktronics tech and run on a 30-second loop. Advertisers can go solo or sync campaigns across both screens.
No content restrictions means creative freedom for brands—whether it’s bold, bright or totally out of the box.
Strategically placed on a major arterial route, the screens capture both northbound and southbound traffic heading to and from SH1.
With Pak’nSave, car dealerships, and Hoyts cinemas nearby, these screens hit a sweet spot for reaching shoppers, commuters and locals on the go.
They’re not just big—they’re the biggest in the area, setting a fresh benchmark for digital out-of-home on the North Shore.
