AXIS 2025 winners showcase ‘smart thinking and beautiful craft’

AUCKLAND, Today: Creative minds came together last night as the 45th AXIS Awards lit up Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre, celebrating standout campaigns from the past year.

After two months of entries and XX rounds of expert judging, the Commercial Communications Council handed out 84 Bronze, 62 Silver, 30 Gold and 3 Grand Prix trophies.

Special Awards were also announced, recognising everything from emerging talent to long-term brand impact and client contribution.

Gary Steele, this year’s convenor of judges, stated, “AXIS is about celebrating creativity that makes you jealous and this year was no different.

“The winning entries did just that through their smart thinking and beautiful craft, and I’m sure when you see them, you will be as jealous as I was.”

The 2025 AXIS Awards were presented by the Comms Council, thanks to support from Cartology, Meta, NZME, oOh!media, Stuff, The Radio Bureau and TVNZ.
