Ogilvy NZ takes the reins on Silver Fern Farms’ global brand

AUCKLAND, Today: Ogilvy NZ is teaming up with Silver Fern Farms as the brand’s new global agency partner, helping drive international growth and cement the company’s global presence.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch and sees Ogilvy NZ lead global masterbrand development, supported by a hand-picked crew of strategists, creatives and brand minds from across Ogilvy’s global network.

Silver Fern Farms has come a long way since 1948. Today, it’s New Zealand’s top name in premium red meat—exporting lamb, beef and venison to more than 60 countries.

With over $ 2.5B in annual sales, 16,000 farmer suppliers and 6,000 staff at peak times, it’s “an incredible local-to-global success story that we’re hugely honoured to partner with,” said Steve Kane.

Designworks, which has partnered with the brand for 15 years, will continue working alongside Ogilvy in this next chapter.
