Colenso BBDO appointed as strategic and creative partner for Tika

Colenso BBDO has been appointed as the new strategic and creative lead for Tika.

Tika is a legal service created in response to the isolating, overwhelming and often retraumatising experience of reporting sexual harm, offering survivors a safe and supported pathway to seek justice.

Partner for change

There are more than 900,000 people in Aotearoa with lived experience of sexual harm, only a fraction of those report it, and an even smaller number achieve the accountability they seek.

To support these people, investigative journalist Alison Mau and barrister Zoë Lawton founded Tika. Part legal service, part tech solution, Tika uses AI technology to identify repeat sexual offenders, and connects survivors with free legal representation so they can pursue legal action collectively.

Driven by purpose

Alison Mau, Tika co-founder, says: “We are deeply grateful for Colenso BBDO’s support and beyond excited to work with these talented people.

The partnership begins immediately as Tika looks to launch later this year.
