Independent media agency Together is setting up shop in the capital city, officially opening its Wellington office to further extend its reach and impact for government and commercial clients in New Zealand.
The agency’s new Wellington office will service Together’s existing government and commercial clients. These include Department of Conservation, Ministry of Education and RealNZ, and further support Together’s position on the All-of-Government media and creative services panel.
Welcoming new team members
Leading the Wellington office is media leader Annabelle Wilkinson in the new role of Managing Director, Wellington. With more than 20 years’ experience in Wellington’s media market, most recently leading Publicis-owned MBM Wellington office, Wilkinson has unparalleled experience across both social change and commercial media planning and buying.
Wilkinson says she feels extremely privileged to hold the key to the Together Wellington office.
“I have admired the fabulous work that Rufus, Kris and the Together team have created in true partnership with their clients since they launched in 2018. Georgia and I are ready for the challenge to add to the success of Together and bringing the best independent media agency in Aotearoa to the Wellington market is really exciting.”
Together Wellington also welcomes group planning director Georgia McNaught. She brings over 10 years’ experience across large-scale social change and commercial clients including NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, NZ Defence Force, Meridian, Sharesies and Trade Me.
With an on-the-ground team in Wellington, Together can now offer wider access to their leading data science, technology and strategic capability that has seen them named either New Zealand’s Digital Agency or Media Agency of the Year every year since 2022.
The Wellington team will be supported by digital, technology and data specialists in Together’s Auckland office under the leadership of managing director Penelope Brown.
An extreme privilege
“We couldn’t be more excited to be opening the doors of Together Wellington and to have Annabelle and Georgia joining team Together to offer our scale, strength in data and technology and modern media transparency on the ground in Wellington,” says managing partner Rufus Chuter.
“We already have a healthy client base here and as demand for more media transparency, independence and value for money increase we’re well set to help more government and commercial marketers achieve their goals. I can’t wait to see what Annabelle in Wellington and Pen in Auckland achieve together.”
Together’s Wellington team will be based in offices on Wakefield Street. Back in January, Together’s Auckland team also moved into a new office on the waterfront.
Together is Campaign Asia’s 2024 NZ Media Agency of the Year and the top Programmatic Agency in Australia and New Zealand.
