Sky’s chief media and data officer Lauren Quaintance has announced her departure from Sky.
“Quaintance reinvigorated our advertising strategy and built a high-performing, award-winning sales team. We wish her all the best as she looks to undertake consulting work and expands her governance portfolio in New Zealand and Australia,” says Sky’s team.
Quaintance will finish her day-to-day role at the end of August but will provide strategic support on the Sky + Sky Free transition programme until January.
A new CBO
Meanwhile, Sky is pleased to welcome Juliet Peterson to the newly created role of chief business officer, effective September 1.
Peterson joins from her previous position as head of networks ANZ at Warner Bros. Discovery.
In her new position, she will oversee Sky’s advertising revenue and B2B activities, including the Sky Free channels and services, Sky Sales and the Sky Business team, which delivers Sky services to hospitality and accommodation clients across Aotearoa.

Supporting growth
Reuben Wirem has been seconded to Sky Free in another new role – senior director of creative, marketing and publicity.
Wirem is excited to join the team to support the content line up on Three and ThreeNow. While in this secondment, he will continue to maintain oversight of the trade marketing team at Sky.
To support Wirem in developing and implementing Sky’s trade marketing strategy across advertising channels, Jennifer Connelly joins as trade marketing lead.
With extensive experience both agency-side and at Foxtel in Australia, Connelly brings valuable expertise to the role.
“We are delighted to welcome Jen to the team,” says Sky.
