Phantom Billstickers activation declares Mac’s Maverick ‘cleared to land’

Mac’s new lager has just landed in style – on the corner of Symonds Street in Auckland.

The out of home activation, delivered in partnership with Phantom Billstickers, sees cans of Mac’s Maverick Ultra Low Carb Bright Lagersaw “parachuting” into their poster slots.

The installation transforms a standard wall into a sky scene, complete with 3D parachutes and floating frames that bring the Maverick spirit to life. Hovering above it all, a billboard declares the mission: Cleared to Land.

Doing things differently

“Mac’s has always been about doing things differently – and Maverick continues that tradition,” says Phantom Billstickers creative lead Connor Lucas-Dyer. “This campaign captures that attitude perfectly. It’s bold, playful and impossible to ignore.”

This is the second beverage launch Phantom Billstickers has delivered larger than life creative for this week. Located around the corner on K Road is a handpainted mural and accompanying posters for Kirin Hyoketsu’s new mandarin RTD.

These campaigns show how creative OOH can transcend the traditional, says Phantom Billstickers. It’s a blend of craft, storytelling, and physical impact that breaks the mould for any advertising category.
