Anthem appoints Conor Roberts and Alicia Lemmer

Communications and marketing agency Anthem has appointed Conor Roberts to executive director and Alicia Lemmer to account executive.

Anthem co-founder and CEO Carolyn Kerr says the appointments reflect growing demand for senior strategic counsel and the development of next-generation communications talent.

“In his executive director role, Conor provides clients deep experience across strategic corporate affairs, reputation, stakeholder and crisis management at a time when organisations are operating under unprecedented scrutiny,” says Kerr.

“Conor’s appointment significantly strengthens our senior advisory expertise. At the same time, we are committed to investing in emerging talent, and Alicia joins us as an account executive, bringing strong capability shaped through her leadership experience, impressive academic grounding and hands-on campaign work.”

Senior expertise, next-gen talent

Roberts is a senior corporate affairs and public relations practitioner with extensive experience supporting organisations through complex, high-profile issues.

His background includes advising on financial, government relations, investment and M&A communications, as well as leadership and senior roles for in-house communications functions in high-profile organisations including One NZ and NZ Super Fund.

Lemmer recently graduated with a bachelor of business and bachelor of communication studies at AUT and has experience in advocacy, governance and public sector engagement.

She has held senior leadership roles including president of the AUT Student Association and has supported student voice and national-scale campaigns, representing student interests at institutional and national levels.
