Saatchi & Saatchi NZ spotlights elite performance of NZ Winter Paralympians

Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has unveiled the next chapter of its Paralympics platform with a new campaign championing New Zealand’s Winter Paralympians.

The campaign features Adam Hall and Corey Peters as they prepare for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.

It builds on the agency’s campaign ‘We’ll Give You Something To Talk About’ around the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games for Paralympics New Zealand (PNZ). The campaign shifts the spotlight firmly onto elite performance – celebrating the extraordinary skill, precision and dedication required to compete at the highest level of winter sport.

Corey Peters has won four Paralympic medals.

The work presents Hall and Peters as the world‑class athletes they are. Having won a combined nine Paralympic medals, they are not defined by disability, but by mastery of their craft, relentless training, and the unique fusion of human instinct and cutting‑edge technology that defines winter Paralympic sport.

The films and stills were captured by film production company, The Beards, on the slopes of Wanaka in September, before the NZ Paralympic Team travelled to Europe for the northern winter.

Steve Cochran, chief creative officer at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, says, “Paralympians are still too often framed through the lens of limitation. This campaign is about flipping that narrative. When you watch Adam and Corey compete, what stands out isn’t what they’ve overcome – it’s how phenomenally good they are. Their sport is fast, technical, and beautiful. That’s something everyone will be talking about.”

For PNZ, the campaign continues a long‑term ambition to ensure Para athletes and Paralympians are recognised first and foremost as elite competitors on the world stage.

Greg Warnecke, chief executive officer, Paralympics New Zealand, says, “Our Paralympians demonstrate the same commitment, discipline and sacrifice as any non-disabled high-performance athlete and the ‘Something to Talk About’ campaign powerfully reflects that reality. By showcasing Adam and Corey as elite Paralympic winter athletes, it not only strengthens recognition of Paralympic sport in Aotearoa New Zealand but also inspires the next generation to aim high and pursue excellence – whatever their pathway.”

The creative will roll out across multiple channels in the lead‑up and during the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
