Creative and media agency Thompson Spencer has appointed Sam Casey as head of performance.
The appointment comes as Thompson Spencer experiences continued growth across existing client portfolios and new business wins such as Musashi’s launch into the Middle East.
Casey joins from OMG, where he was group director of media implementation, leading a performance team across paid media channels. He brings deep knowledge in programmatic, paid social and search, with experience spanning New Zealand, Australia and global markets. Casey also brings with him strong governance, process and team development experience, with a focus on building high-performing cultures.
Performance mastery
Thompson Spencer group CEO Melanie Spencer says: “We’re in a sustained pattern of meaningful growth thanks to new wins and existing client portfolio expansion, and so we’re backing that growth with senior capability.
“Sam brings performance mastery and the kind of operational rigor that sees teams grow and flourish. He will strengthen our ability to connect insightful creative with smart media and performance to deliver results for our clients.”
Ready to shape the next phase
“I’m thrilled to be joining Thompson Spencer at such an exciting point in its growth,” says Casey.
“The agency has built an impressive integrated model and I’ve been admiring from afar the energy around the work, the people and the leadership team’s ambition.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and our clients, and of course getting stuck into helping shape the next phase of performance expertise and capability.”
