The Sweetshop has been named Australian Production Company of the Year at the 47th Award Awards.
The production company took home three Gold, six Silver and 13 Bronze awards, with recognised work including:
- ‘The ad that can only be seen on SBS’, directed by Damien Shatford for Droga5 ANZ, part of Accenture Song
- ‘Get your pickle on’, directed by Jesse James McElroy for Kerfuffle and Picklebet
- ‘Booze maths’, directed by Max Barden for McCann New Zealand and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency
- ‘It’s better with Spark’, directed by Damien Shatford for Colenso BBDO
Great work is collaborative
The result comes in the same year that The Sweetshop was named Production Company of the Year at the 2026 Axis NZ Awards, cementing their creative impact across both markets.
