Together has been named as Forsyth Barr’s new retained media agency.
The appointment covers Forsyth Barr’s master brand as well as KiwiSaver provider Summer and will see the agency support across strategy, data, marketing technology and media planning/buying.
Together, based in Auckland’s City Works Depot, was chosen for its digital excellence and progressive approach to media.
Philip O’Neill, Forsyth Barr Head of Marketing, says: “We began speaking with the Together team to understand more about how we could use data and technology to drive business growth.
“What impressed us was their focus on understanding our business and strategy as well as their understanding of technology and platforms. So it wasn’t really a discussion about tech. It was a discussion about how we create the most useful experiences to drive growth together.”
Rufus Chuter, Managing Partner at Together, says the agency is delighted to be partnering with the team at Forsyth Barr.
“They’re a business with strong New Zealand heritage in a category that’s changing fast, so we can’t wait to get going.”
The appointment continues Together’s impressive growth trajectory in 2020, with a slew of new client wins this year including Sorted.org.nz, Best Bubble, Plumbing World, Gerard Roofs and The University of Waikato.
Kris Hadley, Managing Partner at Together, adds: “Like every agency, COVID-19 checked our momentum, but we’ve emerged stronger with a range of initiatives under our belt.
“We’re really proud of our continued growth this year and feel privileged to be working with such supportive clients.”
The Forsyth Barr and Together partnership is effective immediately.
