In a world where nearly everyone is always online, there is no offline.

New moves for Culture&Theory

Culture&Theory is on a mission to build a team that delivers thinking, creativity and technology that is truly connected up, and with two new hires, the agency is securing two critical pieces on that mission.

Newly appointed Design Director Su Chin Chow brings a multidisciplinary background, working with cultural institutions to globally renowned tech brands.

Working across New Zealand and the UK, Chow has led award-winning projects and teams with a range of unique challenges that have shaped her open and holistic approach.

She is a highly strategic designer with relentless optimism and curiosity, surfacing ideas and bringing them to life in a way that delivers on business objectives and builds long-term client relationships.

Chow has ambitious plans to grow the diverse design talent at Culture&Theory and inspire clients to go beyond their comfort zone for brands that will endure into the future.

Her role is instrumental in lifting craft, collaboration and commercial impact across the board.

Jed Misa also joins Culture&Theory as Head of Social in a critical move that spotlights the growth of Culture&Theory’s social media arm.

A social veteran having worked in the industry since 2012, Misa has spent the last few years directing teams of social content specialists, working with clients large and small, locally and internationally.

He is well known for combining a deep knowledge of the social and content space with a futurist mindset to form creative solutions that help brands to elevate their social game.

Rejuvenated following a 2020 road trip across New Zealand, Misa is a pro in navigating the intricacies of different platforms and user behaviours to build engaged communities and exceed consumer expectations.
