NEW YORK, Today: Colenso BBDO will be celebrating an outstanding result at the Echo Awards held (virtually) overnight in the Big Apple, where the agency took out no fewer than five medals.
The tally includes three Golds for the agency’s celebrated Spark Play work, one Silver for Bank of New Zealand Checkout Checkpoint campaign, and another Silver for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pre Check.
Association of National Advertisers ceo Bob Liodice said: “Founded in 1929, the ANA’s International Echo Awards recognise original ideas and brilliant execution and are considered by many the leading global award for today’s data-driven storytellers.”

The Diamond Echo went to Libreria Nacional, a Colombian bookstore chain, for a campaign created by Bogotá-based Los Goodfellas. The goal of the campaign was to increase bookstore visits during the three-month duration of the campaign and increase sales by 5%.
This year’s competition attracted entries from 20 countries, and each region of the globe. Around 300 marketing executives representing 23 countries served as judges for the competition.
