AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Ponsonby indie YoungShand has promoted Emma Dalton to general manager after 3½ years with the agency.
YoungShand founder Duncan Shand said: “Emma has made a significant impact on the business and has driven the transition to a fully integrated creative, media and tech agency.
“Emma’s magic is the combination of sound strategic thinking with an instinctive feeling for great creative. She’s focused on improving our client’s brands, and that’s what they love about her.
“Emma joined the agency in 2018 and has challenged what we could achieve from day one. Since 2019, YoungShand has produced several campaigns that have been recognised locally and globally, elevating the agency’s profile and setting it on a strong growth trajectory.”
Over the past year, YoungShand has moved into their new office on Blake Street in Ponsonby.

They have brought on five new clients and welcomed 10 new team members across creative, media, strategy and account service.
Emma Dalton will continue to head up the account service team, but this new role will see her leading the broader agency’s day-to-day running.

The promotion is effective immediately.
