AUCKLAND, Today: Augusto, Colenso BBDO, Pitchblack, Chemistry, Rainger & Rolfe, and FCB are among the 10 finalists announced for The Paper Planes 2021 creative competition, which rewards the best in NZ print advertising.
Rainger & Rolfe scored three on the shortlist; and Chemistry & FCB two apiece.

- DIY Surgery by Rainger & Rolfe and NIB
- Odds by Rainger & Rolfe and NIB
- Return to Script Department by FCB and Fire & Emergency NZ
- The hottest chicken in town by Rainger & Rolfe and Texas Chicken
- Good on the flat by Chemistry and Land Rover
- It’s in the details by FCB and Audi
The finalists will now be judged by global advertising legend Cindy Gallop, who will announce the winners (virtually from New York) at The Paper Planes Awards Breakfast on Thursday 20 May.
The prizes
- Best print campaign – $ 300k print advertising
- Best integrated campaign – $ 100k print and digital advertising
- Best digital campaign – $ 100k digital advertising
