AUCKLAND Tuesday: CBD-based indie full-service agency Culture&Theory have nabbed Stanley Street’s award-winning CCO Regan Grafton to head up their creative offering (effective August 3).
Culture&Theory MD Jonte Goldwater said: “We’re excited to add a world-class creative leader to our strategy, design, and digital line-up.
“We’re on a mission to build a team that delivers thinking, creativity, and technology that is truly connected up, and with Regan’s experience across multiple disciplines, he’s the perfect fit. And on top of that, he’s a bloody good bloke.”
Grafton said: “I’m thrilled to be part of a wonderful team of talented and nice people. Jonte and Amy have created a fantastic culture based on values and integrity which connected with me.
“I was also impressed by Jonte’s vast marketing background and his depth of understanding of client business. This combined with Amy Frengley’s world-class strategic expertise made for a very compelling offer that I couldn’t turn down”.
“Regan will be a partner & shareholder. Amy Frengley is also buying in and becoming a partner. Very exciting times for us.”
Strategy director Amy Frengley says, “Regan is a game-changer for C&T. A creative star in the industry whose joining enables us to evolve fully into offering clients true end-to-end solutions. We’re chuffed to have him, and what it means for us as a business.”
“Regan will become a partner, with a substantial shareholding. Our stragegy director Amy Frengley is also buying in and becoming a partner as well. Very exciting times for us.”
Grafton exits Stanley Street (formally Ogilvy) after five and a half years at the helm. During that time he produced campaigns for NZ Police, BP, Auckland Council, and Restaurant Brands. His work was recognised with local and international awards, including Ogilvy NZ’s first Grand Axis, D&ADs, Cannes Lions, gold Effies, and, most recently, Asia Pacific Effie Agency of the year.
