AUCKLAND, Thursday: NZ content studio Daylight Creative – a division of digital publisher Spinoff Group – has appointed Colenso BBDO art director Charlie Godinet as creative director.
Daylight claims it has 20 permanent staff and “a client roster covering local and international partners, creating content delivered through film, animation, illustration, design, documentaries, podcasts and data visualisations”.
Spinoff ceo Duncan Greive said: “We’re thrilled to have a creative mind like Charlie’s join Daylight.
“The vision Duncan and the team have for the business was too exciting to pass up.”

Godinet (who’s also ex-Saatchi) said: “We’re now in the business of helping brands meaningfully participate in culture. And the vision Duncan and the team have for this was too exciting to pass up. I’m stoked to be a part of it.”
Spinoff taps Toby Morris
Along with these changes at Daylight, Toby Morris steps into a new role as creative director of The Spinoff Group, overseeing Daylight, Hex Work Productions and The Spinoff.
