Lucy Grigg has been promoted to General Manager at Colenso BBDO, bringing experience from agencies on both sides of the Tasman working across multiple clients including NAB, BNZ, Airbnb, Spark, Fonterra and DB.
Managing Director at Colenso BBDO Angela Watson says: “Lucy Grigg is amazing and we’re delighted she’s taking up this new role. It’s always a thrill to be able to promote from within and bring another talented human into the overall leadership of the agency.
“Lucy has impressive and diverse experience in business, brand building and communications along with a very special ability to always drive the work forward. She’s an invaluable champion of our work, our people, and our client partners. Her experience and creativity are just what we need as we embark on our next chapter.”
Most recently in her role as Managing Partner, Grigg championed a new operating model for BNZ called FORM; a customer centric collaboration between BNZ, Hearts and Science and Colenso BBDO.
As part of her new role, Grigg will also be taking the lead on Spark.
Grigg says: “With new leadership comes new opportunities, and I’m passionate about helping lead the talented humans at Colenso, with Angela at the helm. It’s a pretty exciting time to be part of Colenso – we have a clear point of view of where and what we want to be for our people and our clients, and I’m proud I can be part of something awesome in an agency I love.”
Chief Strategic Officer Rob Campbell says: “Lucy is a weapon, she is on my side, whew.”
Grigg joins the Colenso Executive team alongside Angela Watson, Rob Campbell, Maria Devereaux, Simon Vicars, Paul Courtney and Richard Schoeffel.
