AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Mango Aotearoa NZ has added two PR specialists to its team – senior account manager Courtney Pitcher, and Joseph Polamalu, who joins after several months as an intern.
Both joined during lockdown.
Pitcher joins Mango from Lassoo Media & PR where she worked across a range of brands from consumer to financial services in both the PR and social space. She is set to deliver work for range of leading consumer clients including Breville, Specsavers and Lion.
Polamalu, a recent graduate who began his public relations career as a Mango intern, has been brought on as a permanent staff member to support Mango’s “busy teams” across a broad client portfolio.
“It’s fantastic to again be welcoming fresh talent to the growing team.
Mango MD Claudia Macdonald said: “It’s fantastic to again be welcoming fresh talent to the growing team.
“We’re always excited to welcome new members into the Mango fold and have to hand it to Courtney in particular, who joined us during our first week in Level 4 lockdown, and has hit the ground running despite the circumstances.
“It’s also great to welcome Joseph on board after he impressed us with his work and attitude during his time as an intern.
His appointment continues our track record of developing great talent through our highly regarded internship programme and we’re proud to help kickstart his career in the industry.”
