Contagion invests in young talent

Contagion has announced three new hires following the agency’s new business wins and increased workload from existing clients.

Daniel Tsui joins from Digitas Affinity ID, as Senior Account Manager. He had previously been working on Countdown.

“It’s been great adopting Contagion’s integrated way of working. The culture and team dynamic between strategy, creative, and media creates an environment where it’s easy to deliver amazing results for our clients,” says Tsui.

Sophie McDonald joins from Dentsu in the newly created position of Media and Marketing Manager.

Sophie explains her new role: “I’ve always had a passion for media, but I was wanting to explore more marketing driven capabilities to expand my experience; Contagion seemed like the perfect balance between the two. I’m not only helping our clients with their media strategies, planning, and buying but also exploring wider marketing opportunities which can benefit campaign results.”

Finally, Amy Maclennan joins us from The Brand Agency, where she worked on Bunnings and JB HiFi. She joins Contagion as an Account Manager.

“I am delighted to join the team at Contagion. Coming from a background in retail advertising, I am excited to learn from all the new clients and ways of working in a new office. I’m looking forward to spending time with my new team and the growth that comes from being in a fresh environment,” says Maclennan.

CEO & Founder, Dean Taylor, says: “As a full service marketing agency, with Media, Creative and Strategy requirements, we need to get the right talent who totally believe in integration. We are always looking for Media people who love creative, and Client Service who have a passion for all things Media. The young people we see coming through look at the communications landscape much more holistically and don’t want to be put in one box; these are the ambitious people we are looking for. Clients want clever marketing solutions and need agency people who see the bigger picture.”
