
AUCKLAND, Friday NZME has won radio broadcast rights for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The agreement, with Sky Sport, will see both major events broadcast on Newstalk ZB and Gold Sport, as well as via iHeartRadio – NZME’s digital radio platform.
The Commonwealth Games are being held in Birmingham in the UK from 28 July to 8 August 2022. The Paris Olympics take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024.
Gold refresh
The news comes as NZME refreshes its Gold AM brand, which will change to Gold Sport next week.
