New Partner, promotions, and appointments for SenateSHJ

Communications consultancy SenateSHJ has announced the promotion of a new Partner and several key appointments to support clients in New Zealand.  

“These appointments reflect the ongoing growth in demand for high quality communications support from our clients in the private and public sectors. We are delighted to recognise and support our talented team members and welcome new members to our team,” said Raphael Hilbron, National Managing Partner for SenateSHJ.  

Kate Walsh has been promoted to Partner in SenateSHJ’s Auckland office. Walsh is a financial and corporate communications leader who joined SenateSHJ in 2019. She has advised on some of New Zealand’s most prominent transactions and leads investor, media, stakeholder and employee relations programmes for SenateSHJ clients.

SenateSHJ has also announced the promotions of Emma Ward to Senior Client Director, and Jonathan Webb to Client Manager, in its Wellington office. 

Three new consultants have also been appointed to support client growth. In Auckland, Hannah Spyksma has joined as Client Director and Georgia Moselen-Sloog as Senior Client Manager. In Wellington, Stephanie Westbury has joined as Senior Client Manager.  

SenateSHJ’s consulting team brings diverse backgrounds including government, healthcare, journalism, media, marketing and business consulting, digital and social strategy management, as well as communication consulting.

The consultancy was founded in 2002 and was ranked in the top 250 public relations consultancies in the world the 2021 Holmes Report. SenateSHJ was also named the PRINZ Consultancy of the Year (Medium-Large size) for 2021 and the PRovoke Media (formerly The Holmes Report) Best Agency to Work for in Asia-Pacific (mid-size).
