Published researcher Duncan McIntosh, has been appointed as Research Director at customer intelligence agency, Perceptive.
Originally from New Zealand, McIntosh worked as the Research Manager at Key Research in Tauranga before heading overseas to New South Wales, Australia.
Working alongside Rachael Weaver, Head of Research at Perceptive, McIntosh will manage qualitative and quantitative research projects whilst mentoring junior researchers in the team.
“Perceptive has always caught my eye with the world-class work they do for their clients. Over the years, I have assisted the team on a few research pieces, and I am looking forward to joining them permanently as they continue to grow and inspire their clients to push the boundaries of what’s possible with research,” says McIntosh.
Rachael Weaver, Head of Research at Perceptive, says the team are excited to have McIntosh join them.
“He has a huge amount of experience in both the public and private sectors, with an amazing skill-set to help us grow our team and client base.
“Having worked for the team at Perceptive for over a year in contract roles, we already feel like he is part of our team and are excited that he has accepted this senior role with us permanently. Having him based in Sydney is also a bonus as it helps us have a better spread for client communication across Australia and New Zealand.”
McIntosh’s appointment comes after a solid second quarter for Perceptive, which has recently welcomed several new clients, including Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, NZME and Auckland Airport.

Living in Australia, McIntosh will be working from Clemenger Group offices located in Sydney.
