The Commercial Communications Council has elected CEO of dentsu Aotearoa, Rob Harvey, to be the new president following the recent board elections.
The elections also saw Lee-Ann Morris (MBM), Gareth O’Connor (Harvey Cameron), Mark Cochrane (Saatchi & Saatchi), and Sean Keaney (FCB), join the board.
Simon Lendrum, CEO of the Comms Council says he is delighted that Harvey has accepted the challenge of leading The Comms Council Board.
“He’s been an active member of the board for several years and brings knowledge and experience on the issues that impact the future prosperity of our industry.”
Harvey has been on the Comms Council board since 2016 and says it is a great honour to be elected and to have the chance to play a more significant role in representing the interests of the industry.
“The Comms Council do an outstanding job for members and I’m really looking forward to working with Simon, the Executive Board, and the wider membership, to continue advocating for the power of our industry and the vital role it plays in the growth of Aotearoa’s economy,” says.
